In case you were interested in where the name Jeffalopolis came from, it seemed to always be what I would name my town in SimCity-2000 and is what I plan to name the capital city when I take over the world.
Technology: My first computer was technically a Commodore VIc 20, but my first PC was a 386/20. I had never bought a computer off-the-shelf until I got sick of Windows getting in my way and started using Macs two years ago. My current home network looks like a small datacenter.
Anime: My first exposure to anime was through Star Blazers which I really liked as a child. I got back into it around ’99 with Ranma 1/2 and that was basically my gateway drug into anime, dorama, manga, and my interest in Japan.
Bad Movies: I watched a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000 when I was younger, so that got me started watching really bad movies and finding the humor in how bad they are. Usually a good sign that it will be bad is if the same person is the writer, director, producer, and created the music.
